Ember is suddenly walking, crawling and exploring EVERYWHERE. It’s amazing watching her find her point of balance, calibrating every step, and learning to navigate ever more challenging terrain indoors and out – exploring the feeling of the grasses underfoot, the leaves and sticks in her hands. Learning all the time. A true all terrain little person!
The weather has turned warm and spring-like – green shoots can be seen pushing through the leaf-mould, and yellow catkins festoon the hazel trees. But luckily the ticks that are a major headache for us here at Badgers Wood have quite not started emerging yet. So it’s still safe and stress free to let her roam at the moment – which is all she wants to do!
