New project in Leith will teach you to make do and mend

Tinker Tailor is a new project at the Out of the Blue Drill Hall in Leith that can help you repair everything from broken bikes to torn gloves, leather satchels to holey jumpers.

The catch is that you have to do it yourself, albeit with the guidance and tools of a friendly group of master craftsmen and women.

I visited the project for its launch this weekend to make a feature for BBC Radio Scotland. You can hear the piece by listening in to the Culture Café at 13:15.

Tinker Tailor is held at Out of the Blue every Saturday from 10:00 to 2:00.
